A new chapter in Tiakola’s career is set to arrive with “WpointM,” the highly anticipated second studio album from the French singer and rapper.

In addition, the project is scheduled for release on Friday, September 25, 2026, marking his first solo studio album since his 2022 debut, Mélo.

The title “WpointM” draws directly from Tiakola’s real name, William Mundala, giving the project a personal connection to the artist behind the music. His debut album Mélo established his place in the French music scene and went on to receive diamond certification, making the upcoming project an important follow-up to that release.

Released through M3lo World and Atlantic Records France, WpointM is set to feature 17 tracks. The album continues Tiakola’s musical direction, bringing together his melodic French rap style with influences from Congolese rumba and Afrobeats.

Ahead of the full album, Tiakola surprised listeners on September 24 with “WpointM – 93120,” a six-track introductory EP released alongside a promotional video. The early release gives fans a preview of the musical world surrounding the main project before the complete album arrives.

With WpointM, Tiakola moves into his next solo era while building on the foundation created by Mélo. The album is expected to further showcase the sound, influences, and creative identity that have shaped his recent work.
