For Uncool MC, the journey from hosting Amapiano sessions and performing in the club circuit to leading his own project reaches a new stage with Sesikude. The South African entertainer released his debut EP on October 2, 2026.

Meaning “We have come far,” Sesikude reflects the progression behind Uncool MC’s musical journey, from the Kwa-Thema club scene to larger performance stages. The seven-track project draws from Private School Amapiano, log drums, chants, and other elements associated with the genre.

The EP brings together a broad cast of artists, with appearances from Focalistic, Shaun 101, DJ Maphorisa, Royal MusiQ, Myztro, Nomfundo Kayy, and others. Its lead single, “Setla,” features DJ Maphorisa, N T S A K O XVI, Focalistic, and Shaun 101.

Uncool MC introduced the project through a dedicated listening and launch event at Ce La Vi in Sandton, ahead of its wider digital release.
