A romantic musical connection takes shape as Phyno collaborates with soulful Nigerian singer Chike on “Kriptonite,” a love-themed Afrosounds record from his sixth studio album, Let That Sink In (LTSI). Released on October 29, 2026, the song appears as Track 13, bringing together two artists with contrasting but complementary musical styles.
Behind the production is Jaysynths, whose real name is Chisom Obinna Onyeke. He creates an Afrobeat-inspired instrumental that provides a fitting foundation for the song’s romantic direction, allowing both performers to showcase their individual strengths.
Phyno brings his familiar rap delivery and commanding presence to the collaboration, while Chike adds an emotional touch through his expressive vocals and smooth melodic performance. Their different approaches create a balance between rhythmic verses and soulful singing, giving “Kriptonite” its distinctive appeal.
The collaboration also adds another romantic dimension to Let That Sink In (LTSI), highlighting Phyno’s versatility and his ability to explore different sounds alongside other Nigerian music talents.
With its blend of Afrosounds, melodic vocals, and indigenous rap influences, “Kriptonite” is a notable addition to the album for fans of contemporary Nigerian love songs.
