Faith and determination take centre stage on “I Believe,” a collaboration between Nigerian rapper Phyno and Afrobeats singer Fireboy DML. Released on October 29, 2026, the song appears as the 11th track on Phyno’s sixth studio album, Let That Sink In (LTSI).
Produced by Niphkeys (Adebajo Oluwanifemi Adebanjo), “I Believe” combines contemporary Afrobeats rhythms with hip-hop influences. Fireboy DML sets the tone with a melodic chorus, adding a smooth vocal touch, while Phyno delivers measured rap verses that complement the song’s uplifting message.
At its core, the record speaks about staying hopeful and trusting the process, even when life becomes difficult. Its lyrics highlight perseverance, patience and the belief that better days are possible. The contrast between Fireboy’s tuneful hook and Phyno’s grounded delivery gives the collaboration a balanced sound.
Within Let That Sink In (LTSI), “I Believe” offers a moment of encouragement, bringing two prominent Nigerian music acts together on a song built around faith and persistence.
