A cross-continental collaboration arrives on “Big Shot,” bringing together Canadian singer Chxrry and Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema. Released on November 6, 2026, the track features on the deluxe edition of Chxrry’s debut studio album, U, Me & My Ego, blending contemporary pop, Afrobeats and alternative R&B influences.

The collaboration had already attracted attention before its official release. Videos of Chxrry and Rema spending time together in the studio circulated online, prompting speculation about a possible musical link-up. Interest increased on November 2, when Chxrry unveiled the deluxe album tracklist but left the identity of the guest artist on “Big Shot” undisclosed.

That mystery did not last long. On November 4, Chxrry shared an audio preview on TikTok, giving fans their first official glimpse of Rema’s contribution and confirming his appearance on the song.

With Chxrry’s contemporary pop and R&B direction meeting Rema’s distinctive Afrobeats style, “Big Shot” adds an international dimension to the expanded edition of U, Me & My Ego. The release also marks another notable collaboration connecting artists from different parts of the global music scene.
