At the heart of the song is the metaphor of a road trip, which represents life’s unpredictable journey. Through this concept, both artists explore ambition, determination, personal growth, and the resilience required to overcome obstacles along the way.
M.anifest brings his experienced rap delivery and sharp storytelling to the collaboration, while Black Sherif contributes his recognisable vocal style and emotional expression. Their contrasting approaches create an interesting balance between established Ghanaian hip-hop and contemporary sounds.
Interestingly, “ROAD RAGE” was first introduced to audiences during M.anifest’s Nowhere Cool at 10 anniversary concert in Accra over the weekend. The surprise live performance gave fans an early preview before the official release.
Distributed through Mass Appeal and Singitdamnit Music, the single also arrives with an official lyrics video, allowing listeners to follow the message behind the collaboration.
With its meaningful concept and impressive pairing, “ROAD RAGE” by M.anifest featuring Black Sherif stands out as another exciting Ghanaian hip-hop release.
