Love can sometimes leave a person completely overwhelmed, and that feeling takes centre stage in “MALADE,” a new collaboration between Ivorian rapper Didi B and Nigerian singer Khaid. Released on October 28, 2026, the track brings together two West African talents for a refreshing blend of hip-hop and Afrobeats.

Handled by producer Swankii, the song is built around lively percussion, bouncing Afrobeats rhythms, and an infectious instrumental. Didi B delivers his distinctive rap style, while Khaid brings a melodic touch that balances the record and gives the collaboration its unique character.

The title “Malade” comes from French and translates to “sick.” However, its meaning in the song revolves around being lovesick, describing the excitement and emotional intensity of falling deeply for someone. This romantic theme gives the track a relatable message without taking away from its upbeat sound.

Released through Sony Music Entertainment France, “MALADE” also sets the stage for Didi B’s upcoming SIL Mixtape, expected on November 6, 2026.

By combining Ivorian rap with Nigerian Afrobeats influences, Didi B and Khaid deliver a cross-border collaboration that celebrates the musical connection between different parts of West Africa.
