A fresh blend of Ghanaian hip-hop and contemporary Afrobeats emerges as Sarkodie recruits Olivetheboy for “Cold,” a collaborative single released on October 30, 2026. The record brings together two different musical generations, pairing Sarkodie’s established rap style with Olivetheboy’s smooth melodic delivery.

On the track, Sarkodie showcases his lyrical strength through sharp Twi rap verses, while Olivetheboy adds a refreshing vocal dimension with his catchy melodies. Their contrasting performances create an appealing balance, supported by a polished urban production that gives the collaboration a smooth and engaging sound.

“Cold” also holds an important place in Sarkodie’s upcoming music rollout, serving as the second lead single from his forthcoming five-track EP, DeJaVu, scheduled for release on November 27, 2026.

The new collaboration follows the project’s title track, “Deja Vu,” featuring fellow Ghanaian singer KiDi. With Olivetheboy joining the latest release, Sarkodie continues introducing the musical direction of the forthcoming EP while bringing another notable Ghanaian talent into the spotlight.

For fans of Ghanaian rap and Afrobeats, “Cold” by Sarkodie featuring Olivetheboy offers an interesting combination of lyrical delivery and melodic expression.
