Nigerian indigenous rapper Zoro Swagbag makes another bold statement with “Settings,” a hard-hitting hip-hop single officially released at midnight on Friday, October 9, 2026. The song follows his late-September release “Big Shot,” keeping his momentum alive with a sound that celebrates Igbo culture and contemporary Nigerian rap.
Built on punchy bass and heavy hip-hop production, “Settings” finds Zoro delivering confident verses filled with sharp punchlines and colloquial Igbo proverbs. The track touches on self-assurance, ambition, lifestyle upgrades, and the realities of navigating success, giving it the feel of a bold street anthem.
A major highlight is the traditional Oja flute, performed by Ojadili Igbo, which brings a distinctive indigenous texture to the instrumental. The production is handled by Masterkraft and Izzy Beatzz, who combine modern rap elements with cultural sounds to shape the record’s energetic character.
The song also features contributions from a seasoned creative team. Only1Klem co-wrote the track and provided additional background vocals alongside Ruffcoin. Renowned producer and sound engineer Selebobo handled the mixing and mastering, while Mr Tee Albino contributed to the outro.
With its forceful delivery, traditional instrumentation, and confident message, “Settings” by Zoro Swagbag adds another culturally rooted release to his growing catalogue, reaffirming his commitment to indigenous hip-hop with a modern edge.
