Nigerian singer Victony takes his hit single “SLICK” to a wider audience with a remix featuring American R&B star Summer Walker and melodic rapper Don Toliver. Released on October 16, 2026, through OUTLAWVILLE and Encore Recordings, the collaboration brings Afrobeats, R&B, and hip-hop together on an international scale.
The original “SLICK” appeared on Victony’s second studio album, STARLIFE, and enjoyed an impressive chart run. The song spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1 in Nigeria, topped the UK Official Afrobeats Chart for 13 straight weeks, and reached the top two on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats chart.
Interest in the remix grew after Summer Walker shared a viral cover of the track online, paving the way for her contribution to the official release. Her smooth, intimate vocals complement Victony’s melodic Afrobeats delivery, while Don Toliver adds his signature sound and Auto-Tuned vocal textures.
Centred on attraction and physical chemistry, “SLICK (Remix)” retains the appeal of the original while exploring a more atmospheric Afro-R&B direction. Each artist brings a distinct style, giving the record a fresh feel without losing its romantic core.
