On March 8, 2024, Anthony Joshua made history after defeating Francis Ngannou via KO in 6 minutes.

The highly anticipated boxing match held in Saudi Arabia featured many superstars out for the main event.

The fight kicked off with high energy and slid positively in favor of Anthony Joshua, who triumphed in the second round via KO.

This created a vast astonishment among fans who had been reacting according to their nerves.

However, despite this, Anthony Joshua was all cool and supportive as he encouraged and applauded Francis Ngannou, who also deployed a right sense of sportsmanship via his grand.

Speaking during their post-conference, Anthony Joshua praised Ngannou’s ability.

His words:

“I thought this was something for the broadcasters and entertainers to get behind.”

“But when I saw [Ngannou] fight Fury, I thought, ‘Damn, he can fight.”

He also praised his abilities and wrapped his utterances with more praise.

Anthony Joshua is a step closer to his heavyweight dream, as he has so far secured the spot to fight the winner between Usyk and Tyson Fury.

What’s next for Francis Ngannou?

Debuting his professional boxing career with the heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury seems challenging, but the MMA champion swerved anticipation after delivering a masterpiece against Tyson Fury in a loss that was termed ridged.

However, momentum was high as the Cameroonian granted several interviews and expressed his bliss and energy to continue to deploy his abilities and conquer the boxing world.

This granted him a fresh fight against the two-time former heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, who astonishingly dominated him via his incredible qualities.

Having experienced defeat in the coldest statistics, Francis Ngannou’s start as a professional boxer is on the brink of failure.

This is because, so far, his loss to Anthony Joshua marked the second consecutive loss, reshaping it into an awful debut.

Nevertheless, just like Anthony Joshua has encouraged, Ngannou has so far made it clear that he won’t quit boxing despite the awful view of his current statistics.

During their post-fight press conference, Ngannou made his feelings known to the public, which likely featured his plan and view on Anthony Joshua’s ability.

He admitted to being dominated by Anthony Joshua and said that it wasn’t just his day.

“It wasn’t my day, and Joshua was just way better than me today,” he said.

The MMA sensation further attributed that he needs some time to process what happened on Friday before jumping on his next decision.

Sparking yet new speculation, he disclosed that he may take a fresh MMA fight if it slides positively to his advantage, but currently, he is only keen on finalizing his decision and recovering.

“But you can be sure that I’m not done here,” he told the press.

Many punters are suggesting and parading that the incredible star should quit professional boxing before it’s too late.
