Young Nigerian artist Iceking Ochacho joins forces with legendary musician 2Baba on “Young Forever,” a cross-generational Afrobeats collaboration released on October 14, 2026. The song is Track 9 on Iceking Ochacho’s 15-track debut album, The Future, and runs for 4 minutes and 4 seconds.
Produced by Chief Double G, who handled the production, mixing, and mastering across the project, “Young Forever” explores youthfulness, longevity, legacy, and the desire to maintain a youthful spirit while pursuing success. The collaboration also connects two artists who share roots in Benue State, Nigeria.
Iceking Ochacho brings youthful energy and confident bars to the record, including a lyrical nod to Jay-Z’s real name, Mr. Carter. Meanwhile, 2Baba adds his recognisable smooth and soulful vocal delivery, giving the song a more mature dimension.
The pairing creates a meeting point between different generations of Nigerian music, allowing both performers to contribute their distinct styles. Within The Future, “Young Forever” offers a calmer moment before the album shifts into the dance-driven rhythm of “Awilo.”
