The Ghanaian music scene gets another Medikal and Shatta Wale link-up as the two artists release “Sika,” a new collaboration that arrived on October 2, 2026.
Named after the Twi/Akan word for “money,” the track takes a direct look at ambition, financial goals, and the push for greater success. Medikal handles his side with his familiar rap delivery, while Shatta Wale brings his dancehall style to the record.
Atown TSB handles the production, marking another connection between the producer and both artists. He previously worked with Medikal and Shatta Wale on their 2025 track “Shoulder,” making “Sika” another record linking the three names.
Medikal’s rap-led performance and Shatta Wale’s dancehall contribution give the song two distinct approaches, with the production providing a contemporary setting for their exchange.
“Sika” adds another joint release to the catalogues of two established Ghanaian acts, bringing rap and dancehall together on a track focused on money and ambition.
