Football and music meet as Ghanaian Afrobeats star King Promise channels his long-standing support for Chelsea FC into “Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem),” an upbeat Afrosounds record released on September 28, 2026.
The song serves as the official Chelsea FC theme song for the 2026/27 season, bringing King Promise’s music into the matchday experience at Stamford Bridge and other club activities throughout the campaign.
His connection with Chelsea goes beyond the new release. King Promise has supported the club for years, with Ghanaian football icon Michael Essien’s spell at Chelsea playing a role in strengthening that bond. The anthem therefore brings together two major interests in his career: music and football.
Listen to King Promise – “Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)” and experience the official musical theme of Chelsea’s 2026/27 campaign.
