A major collaboration arrives early on FOLA’s sophomore album as the Nigerian singer-songwriter joins forces with Davido on “2am In Toronto.” The highly anticipated Afrobeats record premiered on Friday, October 9, 2026, alongside FOLA’s 14-track album 9 through EMPIRE.

The song holds the third position on the project, following the opening tracks “Awade” and “How Many?” This makes “2am In Toronto” one of the earliest records listeners will encounter on the album and places Davido’s appearance near the start of FOLA’s sophomore offering.

For FOLA, the collaboration adds another high-profile name to an album built around both solo performances and guest appearances. The project also features Ayra Starr on “treat u right,” BNXN on “my type,” Darkoo on “hold u down,” and Bella Shmurda and Zlatan on the closing track “it’s over.”

“2am In Toronto” arrives as one of the key collaborative records attached to 9, giving the forthcoming project an early meeting point between FOLA’s rising profile and Davido’s established presence in Afrobeats.

With the album set to arrive on October 9, fans can look forward to FOLA and Davido’s “2am In Toronto” as Track 3 of 9 (Striker).
