Football is considered to be the headline sports all over the world, and in Nigeria, there are a lot of footballers representing the nation both locally and on the International stage.

In no particular order, here is a list of the top 10 richest Nigerian footballers.

Wilfred Ndidi: The Leicester city midfielder earns a weekly salary of €51,000 as reported and also has bagged several other brand endorsement deals off the pitch with his total net worth estimated at €50million.

Mikel Obi: Mikel who is a former Chelsea midfielder remains one of the top players from Nigeria. His net worth is estimated to a value of €50million even after his retirement from football.

Odion Ighalo: Ighalo reportedly amassed significant financial success as a player for Changchun-yatai in China. His weekly salary was valued at €300,000. He is currently affiliated with a Saudi Arabian club and it is reported that he makes a reasonable figure from this team. His current net worth is estimated at €38million.

Ahmed Musa: Musa is a sivaspor player and a business man with investments. His net worth is measured at around €23million and this has placed him on a position as one of Nigeria’s biggest footballers.

Victor Osimhen: He is a raving Nigerian who plays for Napoli and his salary per week is reportedly €113,000. Victor is a business man who owns properties particularly in the real estate sector. He also has bagged ambassadorial deals with renowned brands like dettol and reckitt Nigeria. His net worth is estimated to about $10million to $12million.

Victor Moses: The 33 year old plays in the Russian premier league as a midfielder for spartax Moscow. He has played for well known clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Westham united and Inter Milan. His salary at spartax per week is €35,00 and his total net worth is measured at about €26.6 million.

Alex Iwobi: At 27, the Nigerian is reported to be one of the top earners at his current club Fulham where he earns €83,000 per week. He also has endorsement deals which has skyrocketed his net worth to approximately €31million. Iwobi has represented clubs like Arsenal and Everton in the English premier league.

Emmanuel Emenike: Although Emenike is not actively present on the pitch, he holds a high status of being one of Nigeria’s richest players boasting a net worth of approximately €15million. Through out his years of playing, Emenike played for over 10 clubs ranging from various countries like Russia, England, Turkey amongst others. Emenike is a diversified businessman with lots of investments in real estate worth millions of dollars which are in Nigeria, Dubai and England.

Samuel Chukwueze: The player experienced a salary increase after his transfer from Villareal to AC Milan last summer thus, the wingers salary is approximately estimated to be about €5million annually.

Kelechi Iheanacho: After his transfer from Manchester city to the foxes, his salary boasted to a weekly pay of €65,00 at the kings power stadium. His net worth is estimated at about €35 million. The Leicester city forward makes it on the list of most successful players in Nigeria.
