Minister Theophilus Sunday, the team leader of 1Spirit ministry, pastor in charge of Peculiar Church of Glory in Anyigba, Kogi State, and singer of “No glory in this world,” has finally found glory in a Jamaican lady as he is set to tie the knot with the stunning damsel.
Theophilus, who is known widely for his fire-full gospel chants that have the propensity of melting the hearts of untamed sinners and causing them to live with nothing else in mind but heaven and eternity in view, sparked mixed reactions when he unveiled his fiancée Ashley White on social media. He captioned the social media post “As it pleases the Lord!” and shared their pre-wedding photos.

Ossai Ovie Success, reacting to the photos, said that God was not pleased with Minister Theophilus Sunday for posing with a woman he has not married and holding her waist. He equates it to having sexual intercourse with her and advises him to go on his knees and ask God for mercy.
His statement read, “As a minister of God, you are passing immorality to the world with this kind of photos. God is not happy with you right now because holding a woman’s waist that is not your wife is the same as having carnal knowledge of her. Look at her waist, see the positioning and also look at what makes you a man. This is wrong in all ramifications. Ashlee White, the fiancée and wife-to-be of Minister Theophilus Sunday, is a Jamaican woman based in Washington, District of Columbia, United States of America.
She is undoubtedly a woman wearing many hats, from being a realtor and an NGO founder to a communication expert and a former queen.
Ms. Ashlee holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication and Public Relations from Trinity Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Norfolk State University.
She is the founder of the non-profit organization One Breath at a Time (OBAAT) and Project Save Haven. She organized the inaugural asthma walk in North Carolina after her mother’s diagnosis of bronchial asthma, powered by her non-profit, One Breath at a Time.
