A legendary award-winning Afrobeats Nigeria music star Omah Lay joins forces with French music sensation Tiakola on “TAKE,” an Afro-fusion collaboration released on October 30, 2026. The song features on Clarity of Mind (Extended), the expanded edition of Omah Lay’s sophomore album, bringing together two artists with distinct approaches to melodic music.
Released through Sire Records and Warner Records, the track is among four previously unreleased songs added to the extended project.
Musically, Omah Lay sets the mood with his signature emotional melodies and expressive vocals, while Tiakola introduces smooth French-language verses that add another dimension to the record. Their contrasting styles blend naturally, keeping the arrangement focused on melody and vocal chemistry.
Beyond its sound, “TAKE” explores the need to look past material possessions, unhealthy influences, and the superficial expectations that often come with fame. Both performers approach these themes through an introspective perspective, giving the collaboration more depth than a conventional crossover release.
With its international pairing and understated Afro-fusion production, “TAKE” by Omah Lay featuring Tiakola adds a fresh dimension to Clarity of Mind (Extended).
