Arusha’s street music scene gets another addition with “Deka,” a new collaboration by Tanzanian artist Chalii Mtoto Wa Bibi, featuring Bongo Flava star Dogo Janja and vocalist Lara.
Released on October 15, 2026, the single brings together Tanzanian urban hip-hop influences and the distinctive Kichuga street sound associated with Arusha.
Produced by Lickytouchez, “Deka” seemed driven by a strong street-inspired instrumental, with the collaboration bringing together the styles of all three performers. Chalii Mtoto Wa Bibi leads the release alongside Dogo Janja, whose contribution continues a creative partnership that has also produced the earlier collaboration “Lishindikana.” Lara completes the lineup, adding another voice to the track.
