A talented Ethiopian pop vocalist, Veronica Adane teams up with Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Rayvanny on “Bironica” (ቢሮኒካ), a vibrant East African collaboration released on October 7, 2026.
The song creates a cultural meeting point between Ethiopian pop melodies and Tanzanian rhythms, while drawing inspiration from Wolaita culture. Its romantic theme adds another layer to the record, presenting “Bironica” as a love-centred song shaped by its cultural setting.
The accompanying visual further develops this concept through the story of a traditional Wolaita girl weaving cotton fabric known as Dungguza attire for her father. Directed by Yosef Baye through 16 Production, the music video gives the song a strong visual connection to its cultural influences.
Samson Adele (Sami Go) and Rayvanny are credited as the songwriters, with Gildo Kassa responsible for the arrangement. Production seemed handled by Dawit Tsegaye (DaDa), while Veronica Adane served as executive producer.
By bringing together Veronica Adane’s Ethiopian pop identity and Rayvanny’s Bongo Flava style, “Bironica” delivers a cross-border collaboration that blends romance, melody, and East African cultural expression.
