FOLA joins forces with British-Nigerian singer Darkoo on “Hold U Down,” an Afrobeats collaboration featured on his sophomore studio album 9, also known as Striker. The song was officially released on October 9, 2026, alongside the complete 14-track project.

The collaboration brings FOLA and Darkoo together for one of the featured songs on 9, adding another international connection to the Nigerian singer’s latest album. Their joint record sits among a selection of solo tracks and collaborations that make up FOLA’s sophomore release.

FOLA’s 9 (Striker) album includes several notable names from the African music scene. In addition to Darkoo, the project features Davido, Ayra Starr, BNXN, Bella Shmurda, and Zlatan, giving the 14-track album a broad collection of collaborative appearances.
