A fresh collaboration takes shape as FOLA joins forces with BNXN on “My Type,” an Afrobeats track officially released on October 9, 2026.

The song is featured on FOLA’s 14-track sophomore studio album, 9, also known as Striker. Bringing the two Nigerian artists together, “My Type” adds another collaborative record to the project and marks their joint appearance on FOLA’s latest body of work.

Within the album, the track is described as a slow-burn romance record, giving the collaboration a more relationship-focused direction. FOLA and BNXN share the record as part of the collection of songs that make up 9, adding their voices to one of the project’s collaborative moments.

“My Type” arrives as part of FOLA’s sophomore album and gives listeners an official recording between the two Nigerian acts.
