A new chapter opens for Olefied Khetha’s “iStep Father” as the South African artist brings Big Zulu into the picture for an official remix of the record.
The updated version keeps the foundation of the original while introducing Big Zulu’s distinctive rap delivery. His deeper, commanding presence changes the feel of the performance, adding a stronger hip-hop dimension alongside Olefied Khetha’s contribution.
Rather than replacing what made the first version recognisable, the remix builds on it by giving the song another vocal perspective. The pairing also places Olefied Khetha alongside one of South Africa’s established rap figures, creating a fresh interpretation for listeners already familiar with the original.
With Big Zulu now part of the record, “iStep Father (Remix)” gives the song renewed life while maintaining a clear connection to its first version.
