BNXN taps into a more reflective side of his artistry on “16,” a smooth Afro-fusion record that speaks to consistency, discipline, and staying committed to the journey. Released on October 1, 2026, the song forms part of his six-track EP, Still In Charge.
Coming in as the project’s third track, “16” sits between “Online” and “Deliberate Work.” BNXN handles the record alone, using his relaxed vocal delivery and melodic songwriting to keep the message clear while maintaining the easy flow associated with his sound.
The song looks back at the mindset that has helped him remain focused over the years. BNXN references the habits and determination he developed from a young age, with the line, “E don dey my routine, since I was 16 never to lose my focus,” capturing the central idea behind the record.
Rather than relying on a guest appearance, BNXN allows his voice and lyrics to carry the entire performance. “16” adds a personal and introspective layer to Still In Charge, highlighting the discipline behind his creative path.
